Appearance
Kuvasz are large white dogs with wavy fur and black noses and almond shaped eyes. They are larger than the average Labrador Retriever. Their facial features are very similar to those of a Golden Retriever, however their build is larger.
Temperament
The Kuvasz can be a loyal pet who appreciates attention but who is not very demanding. The Kuvasz is generally a quiet dog unless it perceives a threat appears to its family or territory. When it perceives the need, it can also be a fearless and aggressive protector. Considering the size and strength of this breed, they can be quite impressive in this role. The Kuvasz has been known to be a very powerful breed, with the ability to take down an adult bear.
